Looking for a deliciously fun way for your child to spend a couple hours after school?
Baking is a productive screen-free activity that provides kids with the opportunity to be creative. Baking also incorporates science and requires mental math. Children learn kitchen safety, social and organizational skills, and the importance of teamwork. Children will experience a sense of pride and accomplishment in their creations and bring treats home to share with family each day.
Baking with Danielle is now offering after-school baking classes for children ages 6-11! Classes will be held the first week of each month from approximately 3-5 PM. Class start time will be flexible dependent upon school release time but will not last more than two hours.
September & October will feature a Baking Around the World theme; including sweet and savory foods from Spain, England, Ireland, Italy, and France. We will “visit” a different country each day.
The Dessert Series, running in November and December, will begin with simple cookies on Monday and progress to a layered cake on Friday.
Sample week: Monday-Drop Cookies; Tuesday-Rolled Cookies & Brownies; Wednesday-Tarts; Thursday-Cupcakes; Friday: Dessert Finale.
Students of Albert S. Hall & George J. Mitchell schools may use school bus transportation to Temple St. Students from surrounding schools will require personal transportation to Temple St. in Waterville. Parent/guardian will need to sign a liability waiver.

Cancellation Policy effective 5/31/2022. Specialty 2 hour classes: Cancellations made 7 days prior to the event will be fully refunded or a credit will be provided. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to the event will result in forfeited payment. Baking Camps: A full refund or credit will be provided if camp is cancelled 21 days prior to class. A 50% refund or 50% credit will be provided if class is cancelled 14 days prior to camp. Payment will be forfeited if camp is cancelled less than two weeks before the start date. If BakingwithDanielle cancels class or camp due to low enrollment, a choice of a full refund or credit will be offered.
I will begin the Saturday dessert series class this fall and also offer after-school classes.
Enroll your child in an after-school or Saturday baking class where students will learn the art and science of baking! Children may take one course or register for an 8-week dessert series. Your child will create beautiful desserts in a fun, supportive environment while learning culinary terms and implementing culinary knowledge. In addition, students will develop organizational, social, and team-work skills. Best of all, students will leave with treats for sharing!
Adults: Sign up for a date night class with your significant other or your best friend!
Covid safety: I have been fully vaccinated x 4. Students will wash their hands once they enter the kitchen and sanitize before leaving. Class sizes are small and the kitchen is fully cleaned between classes.
